Why I Think High School Stereotypes Could Be Proven Correct (And A Klaine Idea)

Yep. I'm going here. SO today, I was walking myself innocently to class, and the principal stops me. Of course, I'm not going to walk away, so I smile and I'm polite and ask why he stopped me. He motions Carlee, the head cheerleader for freshman, and says that she needs someone to lug five cheer mats to the old lunchroom (where the cheerleaders practice) and vacuum them, and he thought that I wouldn't mind.

Here's the thing, I am incapable of saying NO. So what does dumb little me say? "Oh yeah, sure, I'd love to do it." No, I wouldn't. Why can't Carlee and the rest of her perfect squad vaccum their own mats? They have arms and legs. Now, I live in the South, like, way down in Alabama. So it's generally considered to be nice to do nice things for people- like pretty much everywhere else. But in my town, you're expected to go above and beyond for other people. Now, I'm all for being like that, but...well...I honestly didn't want to.

I spent fifth and sixth period running all around campus, getting GIGANTIC cheer mats, putting them down in the lunchroom, and then RUNNING back to get other ones. Once all five were in the lunchroom, I vaccumed. It wasn't a cute little house vaccum, it was a whopping industrial thing. My arm still hurts from pushing that thing around. Once I'm done (and I've missed two whole classes. I'm taking AP classes. This ain't gonna work.) she's all, "Thanks." Not even enthusiastic. No hug or anything. And the principal is all, "You did a good thing today," and just walks away.

AND THEN, at the pep rally, Carlee is all cheering and stuff, and then the guy I've liked for forever (since like kindergarten) starts grinding on her. That is not appropriate. At all. Especially with the guy I like.

In conclusion, Carlee is a walking stereotype. She is perfect, has blonde hair and blue eyes, and is mean as all get out. Who makes someone vacuum their own squad's mats whilst sitting on her behind and texting? Yeah. I cannot wait to leave this town, as soon as I graduate.

Crappy, crappy Friday.

BUT ANYHWHO! Klaine and all that. Klaine makes everything better. :) I was thinking about a sequel to Dalton Goes Disney. I was gonna call it 'Gleeks Go Beach' but that's a WIP title. Since Blaine is at McKinley now (soo much love) I figured it would be New Directions going all Florida. IDK. Tell me what you think.
